Who is Blackie Dammett?

Blackie Dammett originally named John Kiedis was born December 7, 1939, in Grand Rapids Michigan U.S.A. He grew up there, raising wolves and wolf hybrids. Due to his acting career, he lived in Los Angeles for many years before moving to Portland, Oregon in 2007.

He adopted the name Blackie Dammett as a stage name, and it managed to stay over the years.

When he started his acting career, he adopted the stage name Cole Dammett before dumping it to continue with his stage name. His first role involved him playing the son of Sylvester Stallone’s in the 1978 film F.I.S.T. He went on to play other roles before finding a home in music.

Anthony is a singer, songwriter, musician and rapper. He is the face of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. The group initially started with his high school friends Michael Balzary and Hillel Slovak. They were first known as Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem.
