Avast Secureline VPN License File – How to set it up?
There is no doubt that those of us who have used a computer or mobile devices may have come across Avast software. It is a household name when it comes to securing your devices from digital viruses. One of the software’s latest products is Avast SecureLine VPN and you need an official license file to set it up fully.
What is Avast SecureLine VPN?
Avast SecureLine is a virtual private network (VPN) that enables you to use the internet with an encrypted tunnel so that you don’t reveal your real location.
This secures your internet connection and prevents third-parties from spying on your internet activities when you are using public Wi-FI networks.
Virtual private networks play an important role in helping people to access websites from geographically-restricted websites.
Some of the uses for VPNs include:
- Getting access to a network when on the go – business people can access business networks when traveling without exposing their identity.
- Dodge internet censorship – In some countries, citizens are restricted from accessing certain websites due to government regulations. The reasons for this are varied and debatable. A good example is the Great Firewall of China. Using VPNs enables citizens to access these restricted websites.
- Downloads – VPN connections can be used to download files over the internet.
- Protect your device from prying eyes.
